Visiting and Contacting Us
Are you open to the public?
Yes, we are! We highly encourage you to visit either of our two locations in Brighton or Denver. You’ll find our hours, addresses, and phone numbers at the bottom of the page.
How can I reach you?
There are two easy ways to get in touch:
- By phone: Your call will go to our call center first, where you can select an option based on what you’re calling about, such as delivery or product questions. The person who answers may not be at the location you dialed, but they can help you nonetheless or route you to the right location.
- Online: Use our Contact Us form for general questions. Please don’t use the form for delivery questions. Call us instead so we can help you right away.
Where do you serve?
We are a local business serving the Denver Metro region with our own fleet of trucks. That means we generally do not take orders for locations outside the Metro region, such as Grand Junction or Colorado Springs, and we do not take out-of-state orders.
Planning Your Order
Is the website an official order?
Not quite. Orders submitted through our website are estimates and order requests, not official orders. Your order becomes official once we finalize it with you, usually by phone and sometimes by email. Bulk material delivery in Colorado is tricky, so the site is meant to give you a rough estimate of what delivery may cost and to guide you through what you may want to know about our materials before you buy.
When we finalize your order, we’ll also ask about your project, get a feel for what you’re working on, and make suggestions so you are comfortable with what you need. Our goal is to take the ambiguity out of the process.
How do I know how much product I need?
Not sure how much you need? Our yardage calculator is a great tool for the DIYer or contractor planning landscaping projects. Enter the length, width, and depth of your project, choose your material from the drop-down menu, and you’ll get a solid estimate of how much to order. It takes the guesswork out of ordering the right amount. We recommend rounding up a bit to make sure you have enough to cover the depth you want.
Pickup
Can I pick up product at one of your locations?
Yes. We are open to the public, and customers can pick up product during any of our operating hours. See our hours at the bottom of the page alongside our location info.
Can I buy less than a ton?
- Pickup: Yes. Many customers come and fill 5-gallon buckets, for example. Please note that we have a $10 minimum purchase.
- Delivery: Delivery orders have a minimum purchase of 1 ton or 1 cubic yard.

Will you help load my vehicle?
It depends on what you’re driving:
- Open pickup or trailer: Our staff can load it using a front loader.
- Pickup with a topper, van, SUV, or other enclosed vehicle: This will need to be hand loaded. Depending on staffing, we may or may not be able to assist, so it is safest to plan on loading your vehicle yourself.
Please note that we do not assume responsibility for any damage to vehicles used to load materials.
How much product will fit in my truck?
As a general guide:
- Most pickup trucks will hold 1-1.5 cubic yards of mulch.
- Most pickup trucks can carry 0.5-1 ton of rock.
It is the customer’s responsibility to know the weight capacity of their vehicle. Once you know how much your project needs, use our yardage calculator to see whether it will fit in one trip or whether delivery makes more sense.
Delivery
Do you offer delivery?
Yes, we offer delivery in the Denver Metro region, Monday through Saturday.
Do you deliver up into the mountains?
We usually do not deliver much beyond the foothills, though we will work with you to find a solution if your delivery destination is outside our usual delivery footprint. For deliveries into the mountains, we have a third-party delivery service that may be willing to bring the product to you, subject to availability.
How much does a delivery cost?
Delivery fees depend on what you’re ordering:
- Dump truck deliveries: Fees vary depending on the distance from the closest store. The fee is a flat rate based on that distance, so the delivery fee for 1 ton of rock (the minimum order) is the same as for 15 tons (the maximum order). Anything above 15 tons requires an additional delivery.
- Flatbed deliveries: Boulders, flagstone, pavers, and retaining wall blocks are delivered on a flatbed at a different rate. Flatbed fees start at a flat base rate and increase incrementally with the distance from the store to the destination address.
How soon can I get a delivery?
We typically deliver within 24-48 hours once the sale has been finalized. The clock starts when we finalize your order with you directly, not when you submit an order request through our website.
If you want delivery at a specific date and time, we encourage you to place and finalize your order at least 4-5 days in advance. We need lead time to schedule, so same-day delivery can be challenging when our delivery schedule is full. When you submit your order request through the online form, please include your preferred dates and times along with any delivery instructions. That helps us immensely.
Can I get more than one product per delivery?
Typically we deliver one product per trip. Our trucks do not have divided beds, so we have no way to keep products separate, and they would blend together during transport and dumping. Ordering two products therefore means two trips and two delivery fees. More than 15 tons of any one product also requires more than one truckload, so additional delivery fees apply.
Where will the driver dump the product at my house?
Most deliveries are dropped on the street, in driveways, or in alleys (for deliveries of 8 tons or less). Our drivers will do their best to place the product as close to your project as possible while keeping both your property and ours safe and secure. Please note that cities and townships have different rules about construction materials being dropped on the street. It is up to the customer to research and understand the rules in their neighborhood.
